About the Event

As pressure mounts on Buyers and Suppliers of technology solutions, and businesses face more and more accountability in their Environmental goals, TechSolent and CIPS South of England have collated an event to help anyone involved in the procurement or supply of technology to think differently about their approach to using tech in their businesses.  Two of the primary drivers of sustainability are the limitations to rare materials and the generation of carbon from technology manufacturing, and we are happy to be hosting two leading speakers in this field to prompt an alternative view to technology sustainability:

  • Andy Gomarsall from N2S,      talking about Technology Lifecycle Management and some of the innovative      solutions they have for extracting rare materials from technology for      re-use
  • Steve Haskew from      Circular Computing, talking about the processes to support      re-manufacturing of technology whilst maintaining quality and performance      to provide a genuine alternative to buying new.

The event is free to attend for subscribers to TechSolent or CIPS South of England, and will be an hour of presentation content followed by networking drinks across the two communities.
