About the Event
Each year, first year students from all Bournemouth University's undergraduate Computing & Informatics degrees take part in an event in what we call Computing in Business week (CiB).
Historically, CiB is has been a week-long team based assignment to design a system for a client, DWK Investment Banking. Next year will be the 36th CiB and we are planning to make it even bigger and extend this to become an integrate assessment for all the units in Semester 2. The assignment brief is co-written by JP Morgan who will also participating in playing users for the requirements gathering for the system.
At the end of the week, we invite employers and guests to come along to a big exhibition where the students will showcase their designs. This event is a fantastic opportunity for our students and each year we are incredibly proud to see their great system designs.
